Please send the document for translation here. Once received and evaluated, I will prepare a quote. Said quote contains the project’s date of delivery, price, payment and work methods, and terms and conditions. If you agree with the quote, you just have to confirm acceptance in writing and wait for further instructions.

It depends on the characteristics of the source document (extension, complexity, legibility, among other aspects). Once I have evaluated the document, we will set a delivery date, unless you need it for a specific date, in which case availability will be checked.

It is always advisable to request a translation with as much time in advance as possible.

Please send the document for translation by e-mail, whether through the contact form or directly to sofiagalli@headwaytranslations.com, indicating the delivery date. Also, please state in the reference that the translation project is urgent.

Bear in mind that urgent translation projects have a surcharge applied. This is why it is always advisable to request a translation with as much time in advance as possible.

Specializing means being trained on a specific subject. As in other professions, a translator decides on which subject to specialize. We may find translators specialized in law, finances, medicine, technology, etc. In my case, for example, I am specialized in the agri-food industry.

In order to be considered specialized, a translator should be well-versed on the subject, attend related courses and conferences, and keep up to date with industry developments. Of course, knowledge increases with each translation received. All this provides the translator with context, which helps him/her create translations that can be clearly and naturally read in the target language, using the correct terms.
